1. What Bedspread Is

Bedspread lets private groups run pick'em pools against the point spread for games in a sport league of their choosing. Pools are invite-only: you join a pool using an invite code or an invitation from a commissioner, not through any public matchmaking or open contest.

2. Not a Sportsbook

Bedspread is not a sportsbook, does not accept wagers, and does not process or hold any money on your behalf. Any "pot" or stakes your pool tracks is a number your group agrees to and settles up entirely on your own, outside of the Service. You're responsible for making sure whatever your group does with that pot complies with the laws that apply to you.

3. Accounts

You need an account to use Bedspread. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think someone else has access to it.

4. Commissioners

Pool commissioners can manage pool settings, membership, and trophies for their pool. Commissioners act on behalf of their own group and are responsible for how they run it -- Bedspread doesn't referee disputes between members of the same pool.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful, or to facilitate real-money gambling through the platform itself.
• Try to access another user's account or another pool you haven't been invited to.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including attempting to bypass rate limits or scrape data at scale.
• Use the Service to harass or abuse other users.

6. Intellectual Property

The Bedspread name, logo, and the Service itself belong to the Bedspread team. Your picks, pool data, and anything else you enter remain yours -- we just need the ability to store and display it back to you and your pool as part of running the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that game data (like spreads or scores, which come from third-party sources) will always be perfectly accurate or up to date.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Bedspread team isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including disputes between members of the same pool over picks, standings, or a pot your group manages on your own.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms. You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last Updated" date above when we do; continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
